Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support and lead the migration of enterprise workloads from on-premises VMware environments to AWS cloud. The role focuses on designing landing zones, planning migration waves, and executing large-scale workload migrations using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration strategy and execution for enterprise environments

• Define and govern VMware-to-AWS migration architecture

• Design and implement AWS Landing Zones (multi-account strategy, governance, security baseline)

• Lead Wave Planning and migration sequencing across workloads

• Establish and operate Migration Factory / industrialized migration model

• Drive adoption of AWS MGN (Application Migration Service)

• Engage directly with executive stakeholders (C-level / IT leadership)

• Run architecture workshops, assessments, and transformation planning sessions

• Ensure alignment across security, operations, and application teams

Required Experience

• 10+ years in infrastructure / cloud transformation

• Strong experience in VMware environments and enterprise datacenters

• Proven track record in AWS cloud migration programs

• Hands-on or design-level expertise in:

• AWS MGN

• AWS Landing Zones

• Wave planning and migration factory models

• Experience in customer-facing consulting or program leadership roles
