We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Operations Specialist to support a large-scale digital architecture programme involving multi-region renewal and installed base data consolidation.

This is a hands-on, investigative, senior-level role for someone who excels at navigating complex systems, reverse-engineering data structures, and producing clean, reliable datasets under pressure. It requires a mature operator — someone who has seen messy ERP/legacy environments before and can impose structure quickly.

If you enjoy understanding how data really flows inside an organisation, solving reconciliation puzzles, and stabilising high-impact operational data, this role will suit you.

What You Will Do

Data Reconciliation & Cleansing

  • Clean, reconcile, and validate renewal and installed base datasets sourced from ERPs, legacy systems, vendor files, and unstructured formats.

  • Align serial numbers, assets, contract histories, and renewal cycles with high accuracy.

  • Reverse-engineer logic where documentation is incomplete or non-existent.

Go-Live Readiness Across Multiple Regions

  • Own data preparation and validation for regional deployments.

  • Ensure high-quality datasets are delivered on time to avoid rollout delays.

Systems Navigation & Investigation

  • Query Oracle SQL and related systems to trace data lineage and resolve inconsistencies.

  • Access and understand new systems quickly — source-system familiarity is helpful but not required for the right senior operator.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with internal technical leads and business users to clarify rules, surface issues, and present findings clearly.

  • Provide early wins that build confidence and reduce dependencies on internal staff.

Documentation & Repeatability

  • Document logic, rules, and reconciliation steps so they can be reused for future regions.

About You

Essential Experience

  • 7–10+ years in hands-on data operations, data engineering, or ERP data reconciliation roles.

  • Strong SQL capability (Oracle ideal) and confidence navigating unfamiliar systems.

  • Demonstrated experience cleaning, reconciling, and validating large, inconsistent datasets.

  • Ability to operate independently, investigate root causes, and make decisions without step-by-step direction.

  • Strong communication skills and a mature, composed working style.

  • Someone who has very clearly “been here before” — this is not a first-rodeo role.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with renewal or installed base data.

  • Experience working across multiple regions or business units.

  • Familiarity with vendor-supplied data or contract/serial logic.
